Anun Tidera 29 Report post Posted January 14 Fun fact: Helium-3 is one of the proposed element isotopes to be used in future nuclear fusion energy projects. However, it's rare on Earth but abundant on the Moon, making it one of the reasons people would want others to colonize the Moon. https://www.bbvaopenmind.com/en/science/physics/helium-3-lunar-gold-fever/
Brooklyn666 641 Report post Posted January 14 Why did you put Venus, a planet where metal melts in minutes and it rains sulfuric acid, but not any of the hundreds of terrestrial moons? 1 A mere Korutsu [Misato] reacted to this
 Awards

Some people actually have suggested to colonize Venus. And their idea is to use floating settlements, as the atmosphere of Venus around 50 km (31 miles) above the surface is actually comparable to Earth's atmosphere and the issues of the surface aren't as severe as it is on the surface. https://ntrs.nasa.gov/api/citations/20030022668/downloads/20030022668.pdf Edited January 14 by Anun Tidera 1 Bradley reacted to this
