I thought episode 8 was more exciting than this episode. Probably just the battle scene that did it for me though XD.

He can't be dead, I feel empty.

It seems his actor is supposedly done for now though since they think his haircut means he's off the show.

Perhaps he will physically return in some season, just not the next one.

I think they already filmed his next season stuff.

He's definitely not in season 6, but we can't be certain. I think having Meslisandre show up right before was not a coincidence. We know her religion can bring people back from the dead.

Some other thoughts:

- As usual, they left us with major cliffhangers on just about every major character.

- I hate Cersei, but now I also can't wait to see her get sweet sweet revenge on those freaky cult people.

- Jorah Mormont and Daario Naharis buddy comedy/adventure for season 6.

- When the fuck are they gonna get back to Bran's storyline?

Where is Gendry? Where is Rickon? What happened to Thoros and Beric? Is Balon still alive in the show? Where is Brynden now? Why weren't the Karstarks even mentioned during Stannis' storyline? Is Edmure still locked in a dungeon? Most importantly, where is LSH?

We are entering the 6th season and there is still no mention of Euron or Victarion Greyjoy.

Why do they rush things so much in the show? They make it look empty compared to the books.

I actually think that they officially said that they went so far ahead with Bran's storyline in the show, they had to let everything else catch up in this season, which is why they didn't show him.

Personally, I haven't really read the books. I only started the first one, so I still have a long way to go, but I definitely agree with that first question. I have no idea where Gendry and Rickon disappeared to.

I'm sure we'll be seeing Rickon again, he's with Osha after all and D&D love her so he'll probably be back next season along with Bran.

Jon is just fine, with all the mystery as to his parentage I can't see him remaining a corpse.  Just can't.

Season 5 was the weakest for me so far, of course even being the "weakest" still makes it a good season... though the book changes make me sad.

Do we really think Brienne killed Stannis either?  No visual evidence so I'm not saying yes myself.  I'd see him perhaps

Miss Asha, they handled her terribly last season and nothing at all this one. :(

Season 5 was boring, dark and borderline depressing until the 6th episode. They obviously blew all of their budget to the last 3 episodes and the battle scenes at Hardhome, Mehreen and Winterfell. There's no other way to explain how the Dorne storyline sucked so much.

I've recently finished ASOS (S3+S4 in the show) and I've read that S5 encompasses the entirety of AFFC and ADWD, minus the changes. That's 3 books. Is this true? Did they really rush it so much?

Dorne was a disappointment, very true. Shame to have such potential wasted, sand snakes were pitiful.
